Sunday Mornings - Worship at 9:30 am: Each Sunday we worship God with reading and teaching from the Bible, prayer, and with various forms of music. We aim to combine elements of worship that speak to the hearts of our people and help us all connect with God. On the first Sunday of each month we celebrate communion. Once a month, individuals in the congregation share special needs and are prayed for during worship.
Children: You are welcome to bring your children with you to worship! A nursery is also available for children, infant through 3 years old. Our paid and volunteer nursery staff go through background checks and are trained for your children’s safety. Sign your children in and take a pager, in case they need you during the service.
During each Sunday worship service, children 4 years old through 3rd grade are invited forward for a children’s sermon. They then have the option to return to their parents or go to Children’s Church during the sermon. Teachers bring the children back to the sanctuary at the end of the service.
Fellowship: After worship, join others in the Fellowship Hall to visit over beverages and treats. This is a great time to meet people and develop friendships.
Christian Formation Classes: (September through May) We invite children and adults to stay for Christian Formation Classes beginning at 11 a.m. See the Sunday bulletin for locations and class offerings.
Anywaa Congregation: A group of Anywaa people worship at Rochester Covenant Sundays at 2 pm in our Fellowship Hall. The Anywaa are people who emigrated from Southeastern South Sudan and southwestern Ethiopia. We are happy to have them join the morning congregation and to have them use our facility to worship in their own language.
Christos Ministerios: This Spanish speaking congregation worships in the sanctuary of Rochester Covenant Sundays at 4pm.
